- The other week a friend came through town and I frantically tidied up in case she came here. Instead we met for lunch downtown and here I am left with a tidy apartment for nothing! Turns out I am enjoying the Perry Mason book despite the ridiculousness so I'll probably read some more after this. I am still staying up too late but now I'm working 7:30 to 5:00 in order to take every other Friday off. Which means I have to get out of bed by 7:25 now instead of 7:55. Is it worth it?
