- About ten minutes ago I turned on the wrong burner on the stove and instead of heating up my skillet I toasted my cutting board. When I discovered this, I took the smoking cutting board outside, and then came back upstairs and dropped an egg on the floor. The puppy cleaned that up. The puppy's roommate got in a wreck tonight and his Suburban is totaled. He's got whiplash and is going to the hospital. So... this year is ending in a fitting way. Not that it was entirely a bad year. It was just very weird.
