Was gonna write a sad story about having to give the puppy back to his roommate tonight but it looks like I'll be getting him back soon because his roommate got some bad news and has to fly away again for a funeral. So. Pretty sad. He's had a tough year.

Smoke has come to town in time to ruin the cooler weather that we're getting this week. Right now it is a comfortable 73° but the sky is a pinkish gray and that ain't no good. It also ruins telescoping.

It's marathon week and will be busy. I've been watching Adaptation in 20-minute segments, which is all the movie-watching attention span I can muster these days.
