it's hot

Watching the livestream of the finish line of the Western States 100. It's still 95 degrees outside. Need to pack to go back home tomorrow - don't want to leave later than noon, it's going to be another scorcher tomorrow. But I'm tired - was just outside on the lawn, kept falling asleep.

The race this morning was very hot. One guy collapsed because of the heat and had to go away in an ambulance, which was scary. Apparently he was doing okay by then but at first out on the course was gray and not doing well.

I love the smell of a hot forest but it's only June and that was up high in the mountains and it's not supposed to be this hot yet. It is cause for concern.

Krar just finished. I don't really have anything interesting to talk about so I'm just gonna go pack. Bye.
