Post-blizzard, mid-post-blizzard snowstorm update

I'm eating pita chips and Egyptian hummus. I just sneezed. The reason God has us close our eyes when we sneeze is so that we don't have to see the spray of food we sneeze out and can continue our ignominious lives blissfully unaware.

It's 11° now - last night they were saying it would get to 40° today, which it obviously isn't doing. They were saying it would rain. How can it rain when it's 11°? They have since changed their minds and admitted it'll probably only get to 16° today. 40 vs. 16 - were they just fucking with us? Joking?

It's snowing. A snowplow came by but didn't plow anything, just drove up the tamped down middle of the street. There are no cars parked out on the street right now - they could plow that! They should plow that! But they didn't. People are still getting stuck all over the place. There are ruts that are a foot high all over the place.

I walked to the store. I wanted to go out for a run today but maybe it would be best to go for a walk in my boots. Running shoes aren't going to get through those drifts.

Snowing so much right now! Just like Christmas! I hope this weather doesn't interrupt the deliver of my Julep box.
