- I tend to always write about myself, and write way too much. My internal editor works only by coercion. This afternoon I realized - not for the first time - that it isn't important to anyone other than me that I had 70 cents in my pockets when I watched President Obama's inauguration. Two 2008 quarters (Hawaii) and two 2008 dimes (D). I was in a theater with a bunch of other people, we in some old railroad town in the western United States, cheering and clapping at distant sounds and images, the exact same time as millions and millions of people all over the planet.
