Unabashed hedonism Thursday: marathon seven-hour session working on my thesis, brain turned to mush. Thursday night: went downtown, had a few beers, walked home very late indeed. Friday morning: woke up bright and early. Later Friday: worked on thesis a few hours after teaching, then went on a hike for an hour and a half. Became savagely hungry. Friday night: went out to eat/drink. Had the best sweet potato fries ever! And the best BLT ever! And two double vodkas. Saturday morning: woke up bright and early. Ran a 5K race. Did considerably better than was to be expected, considering my activities of the previous evenings and my lack of consistent training. Later Saturday: ate and ate. Did dishes, cleaned stove. Took a nap. Saturday night: Laundry and secret online diary.
