You're sitting in Hyde Park enjoying the respite from the heat provided by the canopy covering of the trees, watching the people going by, listening to the friendly music of St. Mary's bells. It's nice, you think. You like it.

The wind is actually a little chilly here in the shade, so you get out your jacket and put it on. Then you're approached by a pair of subtly sneaky pigeons, greedy seagulls, and an ugly ugly ibis. The people walking by are suddenly all annoying, enormous hordes of Japanese tourists walking in a huge dense swath of cameras and heads and hats, families with hyper out-of-control kids and screaming out-of-control parents, smokers blowing smoke at you, that man in the tiny shorts with the shirt cut off right below his pecs - why even bother with a shirt at all, dude? -, creepy slick middle-aged men who give you the eye. And you realize that the bells are just scales, over and over, CBAGFEDC CBAGFEDC, incessant, an annoying kid practicing the same scale over and over and over.

So you leave, but you come back the next day and everything's nice again.
