- My dog's snoring, it's rainy, I have hours of work to do today but hours in which to do it. Ran for 9 miles this morning, got my laundry done yesterday, hot tea in a cup next to me. I'm going to be a developer, like I wanted. I'm happy about it, excited, worried about all the work I have to do - I have no experience with coding, just a certain aptitude and miles and miles to learn. There's a 50K in the fall that I want to do, and that's a more realistic goal to set than trying to do a 50 miler this spring, when I'm not strong enough. Still - if I hadn't checked the news today, I'd feel a lot less pensive.
