Can't stay at my place tonight because of the fumes from the spray foam insulation so I had to pack for two days this morning and it was terribly complicated. 1. I had to pack for a weeknight overnight stay. That's not complicated, but: 2. I have a race tonight. 3. I have PT first thing tomorrow and I wear different clothes to PT than I do to work. So, like, I had to pack for three different things.

I had to clean up after the insulation extractor guys on Saturday and then had to clean up again for these guys today - move things out of the way, cover up my bed and record player - because I know it's going to be a goddamn mess again. Tomorrow night I'll get home from work and survey the damage. Will have to sweep and mop and dust everything, I expect.

The puppy's roommate is on his way home along the backroads right now. "Backroads" is an exaggeration but it's not the freeway because the freeway's been closed. He had to spend last night in a town six hours away. The puppy's going to flip his lid when his roommate gets home, although he quite enjoyed his time with me. Yesterday he got to go for TWO walks.

So far this year I've run 381 miles. In my imagination I usually run 800 miles or so a year, so 381 miles is very low. However, I just looked at all my running logs. Here's what I have actually run:

2016 - 381
2015 - 703 (second 50 miler)
2014 - 448
2013 - 751 (first 50 miler)
2012 - 706 (tried to train for a 50 miler but just did a marathon instead)
2011 - 261 (the year I broke my ankle)
2010 - 302 (the year I broke my ribs)
2009 - 466 (the last year I was fast and awesome)
2008 - 570

So I've NEVER run 800 miles, the only times I've even come close was when I was training for a 50 miler, and my best year of running was only 466.

It's 35 degrees warmer than it has been but I'm freeeeezing.
