Growing sunflowers, what a rollercoaster of emotions. First they sprout, hooray! Then they come up all spindly and can't even stand up - oh no, they probably won't make it! Then they get stronger and they grow quickly. Then there's no bloom and they're 14 feet high when they were only supposed to be 7 feet high. Then some goddamn squirrel comes and chops off their heads before they've even bloomed. Then they start to grow back and you think they might form alternate blooms. Then they fall over in the wind and uproot themselves. Then you put them back in the ground and wait for the next thing to happen. Jesus.
