ugh We had a huge storm blow through, lost two big branches from the huge fir tree and one branch from the plum. The big cottonwood up on the hill above us lost a big high branch. Luckily the wind was blowing north so nothing hit the house or garage. But it was scary and I had to go downstairs to wait it out because it didn't seem safe upstairs. The puppy was slightly frantic but he was okay. We never lost power but much of the city did. Lots of big trees uprooted and a bunch of grass fires started from downed power lines. Don't think I'll be watching the meteor shower tonight and that's fine because I'm too tired anyway. Anyway, this morning I thought today was Wednesday, then this afternoon I thought it was Tuesday, and it was neither, ugh. UGH. GOOD NIGHT.
