Oh guys. Things are just not super great. Let's talk about beauty boxes.

My April Julep box got here on March 31! It had candy! But one of the bottles had leaked a little bit into its lid. :( I'm wearing that color now, a very silly blue-purple iridescent color. It's lovely and looks nice after three coats and a topcoat, but it's silly because when did I become a person who wears bright blue-purple fingernail polish? I don't know how I got here.

The April Blush Mystery Beauty Box is on its way to me! I'm very excited about it, as usual, because Blush was the first beauty box I subscribed to and I am fiercely, doggedly loyal, even when my loyalty is undeserved, which it is not in the case of the Blush Mystery Beauty Box. Best mystery beauty box!

Last week the internet was abuzz with talk of the Modcloth Stylish Surprises - ten bucks, a surprise. I didn't like anything that anyone got (they posted pictures) but I was overcome by it all and ordered one. I already told you this, but now I am pleased to tell you that it should get here any day now! I will probably get either a tenty shirt designed for an 18th century peasant, or a short short dress that's so short I wouldn't even have worn it when I was 13. But who cares! It will be a stylish surprise!

I decided to keep my Birchbox subscription for another month because I didn't dislike it soooo much last month. It was soooo okay. I don't know why everyone on the internet hates Birchbox so much. I believe I'll be getting something in this Birchbox that I got in the Blush box last month, but my face seems to like it so that's good. Blush wins! And Birchbox is fine.

Is anyone reading this? I feel like my entries from the last month are all sounding like sad, desperate cries for help. I don't know if that's true. I do fucking hate my job and I do have high blood pressure now and I do wear blue-purple fingernail polish now but I always complain, don't I? I'm fed up with shit, but I'm always fed up, aren't I? I just go in circles.
