- Made huge new friends after the race this morning. My time was 29:01 - not bad, not bad at all considering the busted ribs and only two training runs. I used to do 29-minute 5Ks three years ago, the first summer I was doing races - funny. I ran the whole thing today, wasn't necessarily planning to but it felt okay and I wasn't going too fast. A little sore now, going to take a bath, boiling water on the stove because the water isn't hot enough here. I'll see how I feel in the morning but I do think I'll do the race tomorrow too. Maybe walk some in that one. I suppose I'll get my bone density checked.
