A robot-free world?

Strange things are afoot today:

* Mr. Pooh said the buses were running early all day.

* We drove to yoga at five to 5 and the freeway was uncharacteristically not backed up.

* After yoga we went to a high-class establishment to eat, and there was not a huge line at the cash register, and there was not a huge crowd of people waiting to get their food, and there were empty tables available. The place is usually a madhouse.

In a few minutes, it will be 20:02, and the planets will be aligned and it will be 20:02 on 20/02 2002 (pacific time, of course). I believe that many of the robots among us were programmed to self-destruct today, thus resulting in increased traffic flow and fewer people at the burger joint.

Today was a good day. I like life without those robots. I hope the rest of them self-destruct at 20:02. That would be nice.
