A short history of my musical obsessions in chronological order Mickey Mouse, Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Beach Boys, David Lee Roth, Poison, other pretty hair bands, the Violent Femmes, the Doors, Enya, the Moody Blues, Led Zeppelin, Vivaldi, the Cure, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, REM, Watsonville Patio, Beethoven, Pearl Jam. ----------- Isn't it obvious why the "grunge" phenomenon was so successful? Before that, everyone at my school was listening to music that was like twenty years old. Everyone in my school--and teenagers are the target of the music industry--was listening to the Steve Miller Band and the Doors and Led Zeppelin.
